What could be nicer!
We'll be meeting at the Art Gallery. How very cultured!
It's a one day affair with lunch and all the tea you can drink. Tickets are now available. See below.
These conferences are designed for senior people in schools who are keen that they, and their staff and colleagues, should be able to get the most out of the huge range of features and facilities that Earwig now offers special needs educators.
The agenda is below. The morning session will be devoted to Earwig as it is now, with Roland Bugler and Alex Hurle showing you some new features and reminding you about others that you probably don't fully utilise. The early afternoon session will be an opportunity to hear directly from teachers at an Earwig school how they have used elements the software particularly productively.
The late session will be a follow-on from our successful London conference on how AI will impact SEND teaching and specifically how this will enable Earwig to provide you with even more support. You will get to hear what Professor Rose Lucking, the AI in Education specialist from UCL presented to our London conference and then to workshop a whole variety of AI-supported Earwig development options with teachers from other schools - all designed to make sure that what we develop is what you actually need, either to make your life easier or to improve outcomes for your pupils.
This leads us to what most people find the most useful part of the conference - the opportunity to talk to other school leaders about current special needs teaching evidence, assessment and reporting issues and exchange views and tips.
The venue is a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly station, there is a Premier Inn nearby and five car parks within 100 yards of the building.
There are 45 places available. These events always sell out. So book your place today.
