Our last conference for 2024 will be in November in Reading - ideal for schools and colleges anywhere in the South, but also accessible for those a little further afield due to the excellent transport links and lots of free parking.
Our Earwig Conferences have been great successes, as both national and local get-togethers for Heads, Deputies, Assessment Coordinators, Earwig Admins, Earwig Ambassadors and other assorted keen Earwig-ites. Take a peek at the agenda below and you'll see what we'll get up to.
This conference will be held at the Green Park Conference Centre, Reading. The conference ticket includes all the usual refreshments and also lunch.
Aside from the victuals, this is what you can expect to get from the day:
The two highlights of this conference will be presentations from
1 Brookfields School, who have used Earwig for some years and been instrumental in the creation of our editable EHCP-based frameworks and annual review reports.
2 Addington School, who will outline their very proactive strategy for engaging parents more deeply in the education of their children with special needs.
Addington and Brookfields are two of the leading special schools in Berkshire .
The event will be hosted by Alex Hurle and Roland Bugler, who will be familiar to many of you, and who will focus on opportunities and issues that they are dealing with among the 150+ schools that they support. The draft schedule for the day is included below. There will be a lot to cover, as always, and you will get a CPD certificate at the end of it, to verify the hard work that you will put in.
The demand for places at this event has been greater than we can accommodate in the Hilton Hotel. so we have moved the venue across the road from there to the Green Park Conference Centre. Not quite so posh but actually a nicer room - where we can take up to 48 people, sitting at tables.
That's why we can now open the booking again. But numbers remain limited. So, book now.
