Earwig is hosting a seminar Tes SEN Show 2021 at The Design Centre, Islington, on Friday the 8th October, at 9.45 a.m.

Join David Maycock and Kimberley Legg from Addington School, where they will present their plan for ‘Getting from Parent Interest to Full Parent Engagement‘. This will then be followed by a workshop discussion on the whole question of improving parental involvement in SEN learning.

Since Covid forced homeschooling over the last year, parents, many parents for the first time have a new level of ‘engagement’ with schools. This seminar covers how to capitalise on this unusual situation and try and convert parents from ‘interested’ into ‘fully engaged’.
The 45 minute seminar will be hosted by Peter Gelardi (Earwig MD) and Roland Bugler (Earwig Sales Director) with special guests Headteacher David Maycock and Kimberley Legg, Head of Assessment and Outcomes, from Addington School in Reading and will then be followed by a workshop discussion on the whole issue of improving parental involvement in SEN learning.
