PARENTS CAN ADD OBSERVATIONS OF ACTIVITY AT HOME TO THEIR CHILDREN’S TIMELINES.

If you are an Earwig school and haven’t already got this facility, ask Customer Services to switch on ‘Parent Observations’ for your school by emailing info@earwigacademic.com, it usually costs £100 a year, but during the crisis (and for the rest of the school year), it is free.

Parents will see an extra button when they log in.  The process to upload an image or video clip and create a record is so simple parents have no trouble adding a bit of colour to their children’s school record.

Teachers get a flag on their dashboard to ensure that they see each new record. When the crisis is over, these records will make a great archive of ‘What we did during the lock-down.’

If you’re not an Earwig school, you can use a modified version of Earwig that requires no training during lockdown. This is also completely free for six months – just email info@earwigacademic.com
