How to capture learning outdoors
Now that the warm weather is here, once the hat and the suncream have been wrestled on, lots of learning can be enjoyed outside (nb: Ofsted love seeing diversity of this kind in the children’s activities).
Whether it’s a physical lesson such as games and sports, or sensory such as listening for birdsong or trying to hold frogspawn, don’t forget that you can take the ipad (or whatever device you’re using) outside too to capture some of those moments and achievements by your pupils. Even if you’re not in range of wifi, the Earwig app lets you capture photos and videos wherever you are, temporarily saving them to the device, and then as soon as you’re in range of wifi signal again, all photos and videos will be automatically uploaded to the Earwig clouds and removed from the device.
Keeping the images securely where they should be – all ready and waiting to be tagged and attached to assessments.
